Ceramic tile laying technology
First of all, you need to choose the right tile.
After that, prepare the surface on which this same tile will be laid. The surface should be even – if necessary, it will have to be leveled. It will take from several hours to several days.
Then we lay the tile (several hours), and then let the tile glue freeze (day).
The final stage is the grout of the seams.
There are also rapidly hardening mixtures for leveling walls and tile glue, which can significantly accelerate the laying process.
How to cut tiles
When laying ceramic tiles, it often turns out that the whole number of tiles does not fit into a row. In this case, the tile is cut.
To do this, on the front side of the tiles, measure the required distance and draw a cut line using a pencil and ruler.
Then, by carbide glass cutter with pressure is carried out along the ruler, cutting out the enamel and part of the base of the tile. After that, the tiles are taken by the edges with both hands along the line line and hit it from the inside on the edge of the table – the tile should split exactly along the line.
If a narrow strip of 20-25 cm is cut off, then after cutting it is broken down with ticks. If you need a strip of less than 20 cm, then first cut off a twenty -centimeter strip, and then carefully cut it a little fucked with pliers to the desired width.
Float tiles are cut with cafellet, which simultaneously cuts and breaks the tile.

You will need to lay tiles:
tile cutter;

level;

rubber grater;
ordinary spatula;
toothy spatula;
rubber spatula.
If you do not want to spend money on professional tile cutter, then a diamond disk for a grinder and a regular small tile cutter. If you want to cut a round hole, use carbide crowns.
Some tiles are noticeably different from all in size (marriage) – they can be used below, in inconspicuous places. To enter marriage tiles into the overall picture, reduce or increase the seams around it.
In general, it is better to use marriage for cutting strips in places where the whole tile does not fit.
The seam of the walls with the floor in the bathroom is filled with silicone sealant. A silicone mass from a tube is applied to the seam. Spray the seam and adjacent tiles with soap water, so that the sealant does not stick to the tile.
After that, excess sealants are removed with a special tool that gives the seam a beautiful shape.
