In addition, each color has various reflective ability – lightness and juiciness, which is called saturation. Saturated colors are bright and colorful, less saturated paler and closer to white color. There are also cold and warm colors. (They are called so by subjective impression.) Blue, blue, green-blue colors are attributed to the first, yellow, orange, red-to the second. The division is conditional, since in any color there can be both cold and warm shades. So, green with some yellowness becomes warm, and in combination with blue – cold. It is worth adding a purple tint to the red tone, and it acquires a cold color. Some colors are well combined with each other and compose harmonious nuance relationships (white and yellow, red and purple, red and orange, green and blue, etc.). However, there are also colors that, with a combination, cause a feeling of visual disharmony and anxiety (purple and green, orange and blue, green and red), so they are almost not used together, with the exception of rare special cases. Colors can be in contrasting relationships. So, in the combinations red and yellow, blue and red, yellow and blue each color tone near the other becomes brighter and more saturated. In the outer decoration of individual houses, the attachment of any colors is permissible. However, before starting finishing (painting) work in kind, you should decide in what color or color the finish will be solved. Obviously, the choice of only one tone for all the tops and details of the house is unlikely to give a good result. The construction will turn out to be dull, one-like, joyless. You should not rush to another extreme: try to smear the facade with paints of all colors that you managed to get. It will turn out variegated, from random combinations of paint they will begin to “scream”, cause visual irritation.
