The ceiling plays a significant role in the perception of a particular room as a whole. Therefore, the design of this part of the room must be approached with maximum responsibility. Today, the most popular material in the decoration is stretch ceilings.
They are produced in various textures:
Glossy.
Satin.
Matte.
One of the most popular among them is satin stretch ceilings. First of all, this is due to its structure, which allows you to occupy a certain intermediate position between glossy and matte canvases.
Glossy may seem too bold solution, matte, on the contrary, is quite simple and common. Satin stretch ceilings got their name for the fact that in appearance and structure they resemble a satin canvas, with all its softness and mysterious depth.
Such ceilings have all the advantages of stretch ceilings:
Firstly, they are quite easy to install and care.
Secondly, such ceilings have a wide color palette and a variety of structure.
Thirdly, they are quite practical and can be mounted in complex structures.
Satin stretch products perfectly complement and dilute the interiors created in various stylistic solutions. But they look especially good in classical interiors.
On the surface of this option, glare play very beautifully and shimmer, both from daytime and artificial lighting. They can be made both from PVC materials and have a fabric base.
The satin canvas can be decorated with artistic painting or photo printing, and the color palette of them is so diverse that it will not leave indifferent any client.
Another feature of satin stretch ceilings is that they change their shade and look completely different, depending on the lighting applied to them. Thanks to daylight, such ceilings look calm and relaxed, and are very similar to matte canvases. But you only have to touch its surface with a bright light, as it changes its appearance, glare and overflows appear on it. Unlike gloss, it gently and quite calmly reflects the light and gives unobtrusive reflection. Such a ceiling is very elegant and noble.
That is why more and more designers, in their works and projects, use satin stretch ceilings and, today, consider them one of the best materials used to finish the ceiling.
