Two -color plaster

In the practice of construction, a two -tone plaster is sometimes found. This variety differs from one -color plaster in that two colored solutions are composed during the operation and two coverage layers are applied to the soil layer. If this is done with spray, then the lower layer will become a background for the texture of the upper color layer, not completely closing it. The nature of the spray can be different. And finally, briefly about the technique of color plaster called sgraffito (scratching). Such a plaster finish consists in applying two or more color layers, which are then scratched according to the pattern before exposure of the lower layers. As a scraping tool, loops made of metal strips, scrapers, chisels, knives and even simple nails are used. The drawing is scratched only according to a soft damp solution, which is applied to the wall in the amount necessary for processing during the working day. If the solution has hardened, it will have to be put together and apply fresh to this place. The entire solution of the upper layer is removed in the scratched recesses in order to completely open the lower layer of the background.
