Many people know how to make a podium using “textile” technology. If we judge by information that has been entering recently, in the manufacture of professional and amateur constructions, more labor -intensive and complex technologies have been spent on this technology. When using these technologies, installation foam is used. And yet it is early to write off this technology from accounts, because with its help you can very simply make catwalks without special fitting. You can make ideal podiums in your form. This can be convinced by the example of the manufacture of a catwalk intended for VAZ 2108. To get started, take 2 rings, the height and diameter of which should be slightly larger. This is necessary so that it is possible to install them flush. Then we take: epoxy resin, sewer PVC pipes (50 mm), a piece of knitted matter, heat -mock, sandpaper, as well as a putty, which contains glass fiber. It will also require vinyl or anti -gravel with the paint of ESK 5104, which can be used as a decorative material.
First you need to clean the coating from the surface of the rack. To do this, use sandpaper of medium granularity. Pre -prepared rings we fasten in the necessary places by thermoclay. The resulting product must be covered with a piece of knitted matter. Then sew the edges and gently pull the fabric. Now it is necessary to dilute the epoxy resin. At first glance, this procedure seems to be very simple. But actually it is not. If the hardener is under no means, then the solidification will last a very long time, and if you shim it, the resin will become very fragile.
Do not rush to apply the resin to the surface. First we drop it on paper, and heat it with tiles or soldering iron. If you divorced it correctly, the resin will boil. When the resin has cooled, it can easily be broken. If this is not the case, add a little more hardener. Soak the fabric with epoxy resin. Do not forget to leave the site in the center of the circle without impregnation. This is necessary to avoid swelling.
As a rule, about 30 grams of resin will go on a two -time impregnation. You can add a little aluminum powder, which is also used as a hardener. This will help to identify possible defects on the surface and contributes to better processing.
After the resin hardens, we will process the streams from it with a soldering iron and sandpaper. Then we clean our product. At the same time, try not to reach the fabric. Cut the hole for the speaker, and apply putty. Putty should be applied with a sufficiently thin layer. Then we clean it with sandpaper.
Decorative decoration is carried out as follows: the surface is pre -degraded, several layers of anti -gravity are applied. As a result, we get a surface that looks like a shagen. We process the surface with the composition of KRRU KR-970, after which the surface will become similar to the plastic, which is used for facing.
Paint, the podium begin after the anti -gravity is completely dried up. We use to do this ESKA-5104 paint. The paint has the color “graphite” and “black”. It is designed for painting plastic. Its only drawback is the lack of aerosol packaging. If you do not have a spray gun, use Dupli-Color or Vht cans. They contain a dark gray paint suitable for painting vinyl and plastic. After staining, dried the product and make the necessary hole for the wires. Then we install the speakers on the sealant of HF, connect and consolidate the resulting structure in the machine.
