The fourth group of platbands is the development and complication of the third group due to the emergence of the technique of a through slice, which made it possible to create large and clear compositions of a geometric look or drawings from a plant ornament with curly stems of fantastic plants. The decoration of the platband over time is becoming more and more, sometimes reaching huge sizes, compared to the window opening. In them, the lush thread was no longer placed on the frieza board and switched to other elements. The cornices of such platbands saturated with carvings had on the edges of the brackets, emphasizing the volume of the upper part of the platband. The decorated frieza board and cornice became wider than the window opening. As a result, such a decor hung over the shutters, and all the elements of the window decoration in the aggregate began to fill most of the facade plane. The fifth group includes a few original platbands that are not related to the established traditions of designing a window opening. Such platbands are more common in the northern part of the Urals. As notes E. N. Bubnov, on some windows of the hut of the Cherdynsky district, you can see the horn of the bull or ram reproduced by the carpet. In the Middle Urals, in the village of Chernokorovskoye Bogdanovka district, in the center of the top of the platband, a crown of a cow or monkey with birds along the edges was cut out from the board. The windows of city houses in the Urals in the total size, equipment and details of decorative processing are very different from rural. This is due to the fact that the sizes of the openings themselves were larger and most often they were located on the second floor. Large, often voluminous parts of the platbands, carved and chiseled, were visible from long distances and impressed stone parts. Sometimes there were platbands with voluminous sculptural forms of details, even with carved voluminous human masks, reminiscent of the Perm folk wooden sculpture. Nowadays, in the villages and urban villages of the Western Urals, platbands that use both old and modern decorative motifs began to spread, with large carved details, sometimes painted in various bright colors.
